This section of lawn cemetery was named after Captain William Oldrey, as one of the first european settlers in the district in 1840, he was granted a 4010 acre property which is a part of where we stand today, known as Mt Oldrey Estate, his property was subsequently subdivided and sold. This section of lawn cemetery positions as with the Illawong section, offer both double and single depth burial licences, and at the time of need are all enhanced with granite headstones
